SAN FRANCISCO — EBay Inc. said Tuesday it will cut by up to 50 percent the fees it charges sellers to list their goods online, in an effort to boost listings and keep pace with other burgeoning e-commerce sites.
As eBay announced major fee and policy changes to its eBay.com site on Tuesday, it also made changes to international sites, including the UK and Australia. In the UK, eBay lowered insertion fees and raised Final Value Fees but left Store (Shop) fees the same.
